Details
The protection plate is a practical and recommendable spare for all Petromax high-pressure lamps. A damaged mantle can cause the propagation of small but very hot flames in the lamp and the formation of brazing joints into the tank. The protection plate, set above the centred base of the support, shields the tank. Through the protection plate, the tank remains intact even when your mantle is damaged. The plate is also necessary for the setting up of the Petromax Radiator.

This plate suits to lamps built in or after 2000. You can recognize them through the supporting rod screwed to the supporting frame.
