The name flame-spreader describes the operating mode of the burner: thanks to a small metal disk above the burner, the flame spreads to the side. The Matador chimney suits to all burners built with a flame-spreader. The Matador chimney is designed so that, when it is combined with the right burner, an air draft occurs that forms a flame with an optimum light output. This chimney effect is only possible if the burner and the chimney fit together.
